Old School Blogging

A few of the blogs I read are doing this awesome old school blogging meme this month, and I had to get in on the action. I love these things!

What were you doing 10 years ago?
10 years ago I was.... only 23, still in the Navy, living in Hawaii, and having the time of my life. Those were the days! We used to have SO MUCH FUN! I'm not saying I don't have so much fun now with my kids, but.... it was just a different kind of fun, a fun kind of fun.

What 5 things are on your to-do list?
1. Make a dentist appointment
2. Go to the grocery store
3. Start planning Casper's 4th (!) birthday party
4. Make some hummus
5. Laundry (always with the laundry)

What are 5 snacks you enjoy?
Hummus and veggies, ummmm... this is kind of hard. I like to have a nice cup of coffee more than eat any particular snack, really.

Name some things you would do if you were a millionaire.
College funds for the boys, move back to Hawaii, savings...

Name some places you have lived.
Monterey, CA (love it there)
Honolulu, HI (my favorite place - the whole island actually and I lived all over it)
Alamogordo, NM (where I'm from)
Columbus, OH (where I went to college - Go Buckeyes!)
Springfield, VA (where we live now)

Name some bad habits you have.
Picking at my cuticles
Shopping too much

Name some jobs you have had. (these are in no particular order)
Linguist in the Navy
Estee Lauder makeup artist
Realtor
Cashier at Long John Silver's
Mom :)

  1. My mom works for Estee Lauder as a store manager. She's been with them for over 10 years now and loves it! I'd like to visit Hawaii one day.
