22/52: Playtime

All we did last week was play! The boys had the best time at White Sands, though, I think. They just slid down the hills, buried each other, and had a great time. It was Chris's first time at White Sands, he's been coming with me to New Mexico since 2004 and I have never taken him there before. He was pretty impressed, I think!

21/52: Favorites

Wow, I really let myself get behind on my Project 52 the last couple of weeks! I am attempting to catch up. The theme was "Favorites" and one of my favorite anaimals are goats. Love them. We were lucky enough to see some little goats during our visit to New Mexico last week, they were so cute!

We have a beautiful wooded area behind our house. There are paths thorughout it, exercises areas, a large playground and basketball court, and a lake. It's so great. And it's so green right now!

These are Casper's piggies. They are starting to look just like his daddy's (which is not really a good thing). They are growing so fast, just like the rest of him- I can't believe he will be 3 in ten days! It has gone by too fast!

This man would give up anything for his family. He does so much for our boys and for me, without complaint. I really am blessed to have such a wonderful father for my children.

13/52: Details

I adore this picture of Casper. He is checking out a plastic red golf tee that he was using to golf in the front yard earlier this week. He is at that age where he checks out everything so intently, looking for the details in all that he comes across.

Wordless Wednesday

12/52: Hunger

The theme this week was "Hunger" and we have a lot of that going on with Owen. He so desperately wants to eat everything we are eating. In fact, he gets mad when we are eating and not sharing with him. Of course, we can't share with him yet (come on, he's only 5 months old, no ice cream or spaghetti yet for that guy), but he has had some food. He had a taste of all natural applesauce and the other day I made him baked sweet potato baby food (roasted a sweet potato and pureed it with a little breastmilk to a nice consistency). Sweet potato was Casper's first real meal, too.

11/52: The Eyes of March

I was so busy this week and didn't get a chance to get a great picture of anyone's eyes. I did get some cute photos of Casper playing in the sprinkler (we have had AMAZING weather), and this cute one of Owen but I know I have taken better 'eye' pictures before.
